Collection: ACC Chevrolet Bel Air Replacement Carpet Kits

Choose your vehicle application, then compare materials, coverage and options on each listing.

Bel Air carpet is a matrix, not a single kit: 120 ACC applications split by year, body style and seat before material is even mentioned. Tri-Five cars dominate, in Loop and Daytona, with Nomad wagons climbing from 3-piece passenger-area sets to 7-piece and 8-piece complete kits.

One hundred twenty Bel Air kits sounds like duplication until you read the titles closely. Nearly every application is pinned to a year, a body style and a seat type, and the material changes with the era. Work through the catalog in that order and the right kit usually identifies itself.

The Tri-Five core: Loop, Daytona, bench or bucket

For 1955, 1956 and 1957, most kits are 2-piece sets in Loop or Daytona weave, divided first by body: 2-door sedan, 2-door hardtop, convertible, 4-door sedan, 4-door hardtop and wagon. Each body is then split again by bench seat or bucket seat, so a 1955 2-door sedan bench listing and its bucket counterpart are different kits, not options on one kit. Daytona is the weave the restoration references call correct for 1955-56 cars, and period carpet was color coordinated to the interior rather than defaulted to black, so choose the shade against your trim, not from habit.

1958 forks, 1959 changes material

The 1958 listings are the only place in this collection where construction itself is a choice: the same bodies appear as Loop Molded kits and as Cut & Sewn Loop kits. By 1959 the headline changes again, to Tuxedo Molded kits alongside Loop Molded, and a Full Loop Molded listing carries the 4-door sedan through 1959-1960. A smaller thread runs to 1965-1969, where the 2-door kit is a Loop Molded application specified for a 4-speed without console.

Nomad wagons climb a coverage ladder

Nomad owners get the widest spread in the collection. Passenger-area kits are 3-piece sets, while Complete kits run to 8 pieces for 1955 and 1956 and 7 pieces for 1957, in Loop or Daytona, again split by bench or bucket. The gap between 3 and 8 pieces is the cargo and rear area of the wagon, so decide how much of the car you are retrimming before comparing prices across the two coverage levels.

Across all years, keep the original carpet until the new kit is fitted. These sets still need openings marked and trimmed in the car, and the old flooring is the most reliable pattern for them.

1955 Bel Air bench-seat versus bucket-seat carpet

The listed 1955 Bel Air range distinguishes bench and bucket seating across several body descriptions. Examples include two-door sedan and hardtop bucket-seat Daytona products, a convertible bench-seat Loop application, and four-door sedan bench-seat listings in Loop or Daytona. Match the current seating and body together.

A separate four-door wagon Loop application identifies another configuration. If seats were changed during restoration, explain that conversion during a fitment check. Similar two-piece counts do not establish the same floor configuration, so retain the full application title before selecting material and color.
