Collection: ACC Chevrolet Trunk Mats & Carpet

Choose your vehicle application, then compare materials, coverage and options on each listing.

Chevrolet trunk work starts with the big cars: 96 applications led by 1959 to 1964 Impala mats in vinyl, fleece, loop and Tuxedo, plus board kits, molded Camaro and Chevy II trunk carpet, Monte Carlo kits and Tri-Five Bel Air mats with or without the spare tire cutout.

The Impala Decision: Mat Only, or the Kit with Boards?

More than a third of this collection is Impala, and the 1959 to 1964 cars ask the same question in two sizes. The standard replacement is a three-piece mat set. The alternative is the six-piece kit with boards, adding rigid panels for the flat, upholstered walls judges look for on a restored X-frame car. Both exist for 1959 and 1960 in vinyl, and the 1960 lineup widens to fleece, loop carpet with pad and Tuxedo. Warped or missing boards point to the six-piece kit; sound boards make the three-piece set the cheaper refresh.

Materials Change by Year and Body Style

Convertibles and hardtops do not share trunk shapes, so the 1961 to 1964 Impala listings split by body: four pieces for the 2-door convertible, three for the hardtop and coupe, in felt, vinyl and loop or Tuxedo carpet with pad. The 1965 cars simplify to one-piece mats in vinyl or loop. The 1955 to 1957 Bel Air mat is a single loop piece for the Tri-Five trunk, sold with the spare tire cutout or without it, so match the listing to where your spare sits.

When the Listing Says Carpet Kit, It Is Molded

Not everything here is a flat mat. The Camaro and Chevy II trunk-area kits are molded loop carpet, shaped to the trunk floor the way ACC molds cabin carpet. Camaro coverage runs from the 1967 to 1968 coupe kit through 1970 to 1973, with molded vinyl mats for 1967 to 1972 and foam or vinyl for 1973 to 1981. The Monte Carlo goes furthest: a 1981 to 1988 cutpile kit with boards in seven pieces, plus a trunk lid cover, for a G-body trunk finished to show standard.

The Rest of the Range

  • Chevelle: one-piece mats for 1964 to 1965 in loop carpet with pad or vinyl, part of a 13-listing group.
  • Corvette: 1958 to 1962 in loop or Tuxedo, cut for the early solid-axle trunk.
  • Corvair: one-piece vinyl mats, and the trunk sits in front on the 1961 to 1966 cars.
  • Caprice and later full-size applications round out the big-car coverage.

Confirm the piece count on the product page before ordering: boards, side panels and spare covers are included only when the listing names them.
