Collection: ACC Interior Carpet Panels & Sections

Choose your vehicle application, then compare materials, coverage and options on each listing.

Door panel inserts, kick panel inserts and fold-down seat carpet live here, organized by where the piece sits in the cabin. These are the finishing sections that complete a carpet job, sold by exact vehicle, location, material and, on some cars, insert width.

A new main floor can make the rest of a cabin look worse. The carpeted strip at the bottom of each door, the kick panels and the fold-down seat back wear out too, and they are sold separately from floor carpet. This hub groups them by location: start with the spot you are fixing, then narrow by vehicle.

Shop by location, not by car

  • Door panel inserts renew the carpeted band on the door. Most are two-piece sets, in Loop for Pontiac classics like the Grand Prix, Bonneville, GTO and LeMans, and in Cutpile for later trucks.
  • Kick panel inserts cover the scuff zone beside the footwells. Dodge W-series trucks list them alone in two-piece sets or combined with door inserts in four-piece sets.
  • Fold-down area carpet covers the seat back and load floor behind it, like the three-piece Nylon set for 1964-1968 Mustang fastbacks and the one-piece Loop set for 1967 Camaro.

Two decisions that decide the order

First, measure the insert. GTO and LeMans door inserts come in 3 inch, 5 inch and 8 inch widths, and the right one matches the carpet band on your existing panel; it is not a trim-level guess. Second, know your backing. Several applications, from early Grand Prix and Bonneville inserts to the 1984-1985 Dodge W100 sets, come with cardboard or without. Order with cardboard when the old backing board is warped, cracked or water damaged; without when a sound board will be reused.

Watch for overlap, and know what an insert is not

An insert renews only the carpeted portion named in the listing. It is not a complete door panel, and it excludes the vinyl upper section, metal rails and hardware. Also watch for double coverage: a complete floor carpet kit may already include a fold-down or kick section, so compare piece lists before ordering separately.

Match texture, then judge the board

Loop, Cutpile and Nylon appear in this category, and the same color name can read differently across textures or beside aged original carpet. Match the material named for your application first, then the color. Finally, inspect the support underneath: new carpet cannot fix a failed backing board, so repair or replace it before the insert goes on, and keep original trim and hardware until the new pieces fit.
