ACC Interior Carpet Panels, Inserts and Separate Sections

Complete the smaller carpeted areas around a restored cabin with application-specific Auto Custom Carpets sections. This category brings together individual pieces such as door-panel inserts and fold-down-area carpet. Identify both the vehicle and the section's location before ordering. These products should not be mistaken for complete door panels, seat assemblies or main floor kits.

Door-panel carpet inserts

The collection includes two-piece insert applications for vehicles such as the GMC Caballero, Ford Thunderbird and Chevrolet Chevelle. Some Chevelle descriptions identify a two-door application and a three-inch insert detail. Compare that wording with the retained door trim before selecting a product.

A carpet insert renews the carpeted portion described in the listing. Review whether the package supplies only carpet or expressly includes any support or attachment components. Keep original trim and hardware until the replacement pieces have been fitted and the retained parts have been inspected.

Fold-down-area carpet

Fold-down sections have their own application requirements. Examples in this collection include a three-piece Nylon product for 1964–1968 Mustang fastbacks and a separate one-piece Loop fold-down product for the 1967 Camaro. Match the listed body and year rather than assuming that main-floor carpet also supplies these areas.

Before combining individual sections with a larger package, compare the included pieces on both products. A complete kit may already identify the area you are planning to buy separately. Checking contents avoids ordering overlapping coverage.

Match texture as well as color

Loop, Cutpile and Nylon wording appears across different section applications. Select the material specified for the product and compare it with the cabin's main carpet. Similar color names can look different across textures or alongside older material. Ask about available sample information when coordinating with retained upholstery.

Confirm the underlying trim condition

Replacement carpet cannot establish whether an old door-panel backing or fold-down support is suitable for reuse. Inspect the underlying part before installation and address damage separately. Follow the product's attachment instructions and use any stated application details to plan the fitting work.

Fit around edges and moving components

Dry-fit the section in its intended position before making irreversible cuts. Check the edges and nearby trim, and preserve the operation of controls or moving parts. Retain removed carpet as a reference while recognizing that a previously altered piece may not represent the original layout.

For main cabin flooring, compare ACC replacement carpet kits and select that application independently.
