Collection: ACC Chevrolet Biscayne Replacement Carpet Kits

Choose your vehicle application, then compare materials, coverage and options on each listing.

Restore the cabin of a 1961-1962 Chevrolet Biscayne with a Tuxedo molded replacement carpet kit matched to your 2-door hardtop or sedan and its 4-speed floor, or choose the loop kits that cover Biscaynes from 1958 through 1972 in 2-piece sets.

Loop or Tuxedo? The Material Follows the Car

The first choice on a Biscayne is not the color; it is the material named in the listing. The 1958 kits here are loop, the 1959-1960 range adds Tuxedo alongside loop, including the Full versions of both, and 1961-1962 pairs Tuxedo with the transmission splits described below. From 1961 through 1972 the listings are loop. That mirrors the wider market: Factory Interiors lists the 1961-1962 Biscayne in Tuxedo, while other ACC sellers describe 1961-1964 full-size carpet as 80/20 style rayon loop pile. ACC's loop specification, 100% 6.6 nylon at 20 ounces per square yard, is the material used in cars built before 1974, so loop is the original-style direction for most of this range.

Automatic and 4-Speed Floors Are Separate Kits

From 1961 to 1964 the catalog splits nearly every combination by transmission: 2-door sedan and 4-door sedan, each in automatic and 4-speed versions, in both hardtop/sedan groupings for 1961-1962. The tunnel and shifter opening differ, so a 4-speed kit is not a substitute for an automatic car. The split survives into the next body style as the 1965-1970 2-door 4-speed kit listed specifically without console, next to the 1965-1969 2-door automatic and the 4-door automatic kits that run through 1972.

Every Kit Here Is a 2-Piece Molded Set

All 26 listings in this collection are 2-piece molded kits, formed to the Biscayne floor pan rather than sold as flat yardage. Molded carpet still needs final edge trimming, and padding and heel pad details follow the individual listing, so read the product page before ordering. If your car is a 1959 or 1960, note the Full listings alongside the standard sedan kits and pick the coverage your car left the factory with.

Let It Relax, Then Trim Once

Installers repeat the same advice because it works: unbox the kit and let it relax for a day so the molded shape settles, lay the old carpet over the new as a template for cutouts, and find bolt holes with an awl from underneath instead of guessing. Trim the perimeter conservatively and tuck the excess under the sill plates. For more sound and heat control, ACC offers optional mass backing, an EVA layer of about 45 mil that also helps the carpet sit flatter.
