Collection: ACC Chevrolet Monte Carlo Replacement Carpet Kits

Choose your vehicle application, then compare materials, coverage and options on each listing.

Shop molded replacement carpet kits for every Monte Carlo generation that has one: loop carpet for the 1970-1973 cars, cutpile from 1974 through the last G-body cars in 1988, and cutpile kits again for the 1995-2007 revival. Match your generation first, then the year range.

Loop Through 1973, Cutpile From 1974

The material split in this collection is not a preference, it is the calendar. The 1970-1972 and 1973 Monte Carlo kits are loop carpet, the 100% 6.6 nylon, 20-ounce material ACC specs for cars built before 1974. From the 1974-1975 kit onward every listing is cutpile, the 14-ounce nylon pile that became standard around 1974, carrying through 1976, 1977 and both G-body ranges. Ordering loop for a 1978 car or cutpile for a 1971 puts the wrong texture in a judged interior. Find your year range first; the material is already decided by it.

Four Generations, Four Different Floors

This page spans cars that share a nameplate and almost nothing else. The first generation, 1970-1973, takes 2-piece kits. The colonnade cars split into 1974-1975 and 1976 in 2-piece cutpile, then 1977 goes 1-piece. The G-body generation runs 1978-1981 and 1982-1988, both 1-piece cutpile, including the SS years. Then the nameplate disappears for six years, and the kits return with the front-drive revival: 1995-1999, 2000-2005 and 2006-2007, all 1-piece cutpile. There is no 1989-1994 Monte Carlo, so a gap in the listings is the car, not a missing product.

The Early Kits Are Titled Auto: Check Your Console and Shifter

Read the early listings closely. The 1970-1972 and 1973 kits here are titled for automatic cars, and first-generation owners with a manual transmission and console have learned that combination takes its own carpet pattern. Confirm how your car is equipped and compare it against the listing title rather than assuming one kit covers every early Monte Carlo. Backing too: these kits include padding where it was original and an accurately applied heel pad, and ACC offers optional mass backing, roughly 45 mil of EVA, for extra heat and sound control.

Fitting a Molded Kit Without Fighting It

Molded carpet arrives folded and slightly oversize. Lay it out flat, ideally in the sun, and let the wrinkles relax while you strip the seats, belts and sill plates and inspect the bare floor. Install the rear section first on 2-piece kits; the front section overlaps it. Work from the tunnel outward, tucking the molding into the footwells, and trim slowly around the shifter, pedals and seat mounts. Keep the old carpet as a pattern reference.
