Collection: ACC Oldsmobile Trunk Mats & Carpet

Choose your vehicle application, then compare materials, coverage and options on each listing.

Shop Oldsmobile trunk mats by the car you actually own: a 1964-1965 Oldsmobile 442 vinyl replacement trunk mat is a 2-piece set, while later Cutlass mats run 1-piece in felt or vinyl, and the 1968-1972 Cutlass loop trunk mat comes in carpet with pad.

Two-Piece Mats for the Early Cars, One-Piece After

The range opens with 2-piece vinyl sets: 1964-1965 and 1966-1967, each listed separately for the 442 and the Cutlass, because the trunk floor changed between those generations. From 1968 the listings split by material instead of piece count. The 1968-1969 Cutlass comes in felt or vinyl as a 1-piece mat, 1970-1972 returns to a 2-piece vinyl set, and the one carpet option in the whole collection, the 1968-1972 Cutlass loop replacement trunk mat in carpet with pad, is also 2-piece. Later cars simplify again: 1973-1977 Cutlass in felt, 1978-1981 Cutlass and Cutlass Supreme in vinyl, all 1-piece.

Vinyl, Felt or Loop Carpet?

Vinyl is the working choice: water resistant, quick to wipe down, and the safe pick if the car still carries tools, a cooler or anything that can leak. Felt is the quiet, factory-style surface and suits a finished trunk that mostly carries a spare and a jack. Loop carpet with pad is the show choice for 1968-1972 cars, matching the loop carpet in the cabin and giving the trunk the same finished look judges expect. Pattern matters at that level too: period Oldsmobile trunks are associated with houndstooth, which is why matching spare tire covers are sold in the same trunk mat material, in aqua and gray houndstooth.

Do Not Forget the Toronado

One listing breaks the Cutlass pattern entirely: the 1966-1967 Toronado felt replacement trunk mat, a 1-piece set for the front-wheel-drive flagship. Toronado owners rarely find their car in a Cutlass-heavy catalog, so confirm the listing name rather than assuming a Cutlass mat crosses over. Nothing else in this collection interchanges with it.

Check for Water Before the New Mat Goes Down

A fresh mat hides a wet trunk floor beautifully, which is exactly the problem. Lift the old covering out, look for moisture, surface rust and a leaking trunk seal, and fix the water entry first. Keep the old mat beside the car as a reference while you trial-fit the replacement, and make sure the spare tire and jack stay reachable once the new mat is in place.
