Dodge D100 Replacement Carpet for Classic Pickups

The D100 is Dodge's half-ton 2WD pickup, and sweptline and 1970s trucks are getting a lot of attention from restorers. ACC makes molded floors for the D100 from 1964 all the way to 1989, so whether you are refreshing a sweptline or a late-1980s truck, you can start here.

1964-1971 D100 carpet

Early D100 Series regular cab trucks use a one-piece Loop floor. ACC lists separate kits for 1964-1967, 1968-1970 and 1971, so match the year closely.

1972-1980 D100 carpet

From 1972 on, the floors are split by transmission. Regular cab 2WD trucks have automatic and 4-speed versions in Loop for 1972-1973 and in Cutpile from 1974. Extended cab (Club Cab) kits start in 1973 and run through 1979, and a 1975-1979 Crew Cab 4-speed floor is listed too. Door panels and kick panels are available for 1972-1973, 1974 and 1975-1979 trucks.

1986-1989 D100 carpet

Later trucks use one-piece Cutpile floors. ACC lists 1986-1988 4-speed and 1986-1989 automatic regular cab floors, 1986-1989 extended cab automatic floors, and a 1989 regular cab 4-speed or 5-speed floor. Matching door and kick panels are offered for these years as well.

Picking the right D100 kit

Match the year group first, then the cab (regular, extended or Crew Cab), then the transmission. Then pick Loop or Cutpile, your color and standard or mass backing. Mass backing adds a heat and sound barrier under the carpet and makes an old truck feel a lot more solid on the highway.

Before you order: check your D100 details

Dodge trucks were built in a lot of combinations, and many have had transmissions swapped over the years. Look at the floor before you order. A 4-speed truck will have a shifter opening in the floor, while an automatic truck usually will not. For extended cab trucks, confirm the cab style on your door tag or by measuring behind the seat. If anything has been changed, tell us when you call so we can help you pick the closest kit.

Install tips

Remove the seat and old carpet, clean the floor and fix any rust or leaks. Let the new carpet warm up so the molded shape relaxes. Trim slowly around the shifter, seat bolts and pedals.

For color, compare against a hidden piece of old carpet under the seat, since the exposed carpet has usually faded.

D100 carpet FAQ

Does D100 carpet fit a D150 or W100? Those trucks have their own listings. The W100 is 4WD and uses a different floor, so order the kit that names your model.

Why is automatic different from 4-speed? The floor hump and shifter opening are different, so ACC molds them separately starting in 1972.

Can I get extended cab carpet? Yes, extended cab floors are listed for 1973 through 1979 and 1986 through 1989.
