The Bonneville spans almost fifty years, from finned 1950s hardtops to modern front-wheel-drive sedans. ACC lists Bonneville carpet by year and body style, so start with your exact car and work down from there.

1958 and 1960 Bonneville carpet

The 1958 Bonneville 2-door hardtop has two kits: a 3-piece Loop kit for bucket seat cars and a 2-piece Loop kit for bench seat cars. For 1960, choose a 2-door hardtop kit in Tuxedo or Full Tuxedo, or the 4-door hardtop Tuxedo kit.

1974-1986 Bonneville carpet

The 1974-1976 cars use 2-piece Cutpile floors for the 2-door automatic and the 4-door hardtop automatic. From 1977-1981, the floors are one-piece Cutpile for 2-door and 4-door cars, and the 1979-1981 Bonneville Safari wagon has its own floor. The 1982-1986 4-door is listed separately.

1987-2005 front-wheel-drive Bonneville carpet

Front-wheel-drive Bonnevilles have one-piece Cutpile floors listed for 1987-1991, then a split by console for the 1992 and later cars: 1992-1997 without console and 1992-1999 with console. 1998-1999 cars without rear air have their own kit, and the 2000-2005 4-door has its own floor.

Choosing your Bonneville kit

Confirm the year and body style first. For 1958 cars, check bench or buckets. For 1992-1999 cars, check whether the car has a center console and, for 1998-1999, rear air vents. Then choose your color and backing.

How to confirm your Bonneville details

Your VIN and body tag identify the body style. Hardtops have no B-pillar between the windows, sedans do. On 1992-1999 cars, a console is easy to spot between the front seats. For 1998-1999 cars, check whether the car has rear air ducts before you order. If your car has been modified, order the kit that matches the floor as it is today.

Install tips

Full-size floors are big, so lay the carpet out somewhere warm before install. Remove the seats and console, clean the floor, and fit the front edge first. Trim around seat bolts and belt anchors slowly so the openings stay tight.

Color and material

The 1958 cars use Loop, which matches the original texture, while 1960 cars are offered in Tuxedo patterns. Everything from 1974 on is Cutpile. Pick a color that works with your seats and door panels, and if you are matching an original interior, compare against a clean area of old carpet, like under the seat, where it has not faded.
