This collection has 26 ACC EVA sound deadening kits for classic Pontiacs, from 1955-1957 Chieftain and Star Chief floors to 1970-1981 Firebird and Trans Am kits. Each one is pre-cut to the floor pan and installs under the carpet.

GTO, LeMans and Firebird

The muscle car side covers the 1964-1967, 1968-1972 and 1973 GTO, 1968-1972 and 1973-1976 LeMans, and a 1974 Ventura GTO kit. Firebird and Trans Am kits cover 1967-1969 and 1970-1981. These cars ran hot and loud from the factory, and a restored interior with no insulation under the carpet makes that worse.

Full-size Pontiacs

Big-car coverage is broad. Bonneville and Catalina kits run 1959-1960, 1961-1964, 1965-1970 and 1971-1975, with a 1957 Bonneville kit as well. Grand Prix kits cover 1962-1964, 1965-1968, 1969-1972 and 1973-1974. For the 1950s there are Chieftain and Star Chief kits for 1955-1957, a 1957 Super Chief kit and 1959-1960 Star Chief. Body style and year block matter, so match the title to your car.

Install it with the carpet

The best time to add sound deadening is when the floor is bare for a new carpet kit. EVA cuts road noise and exhaust drone, slows heat through the floor and tunnel, and gives the carpet a smooth base. Kits are made in the USA by Auto Custom Carpets, run from about $93 to $159, and ship free.
