Collection: ACC Cadillac Fleetwood Replacement Carpet Kits

Choose your vehicle application, then compare materials, coverage and options on each listing.

Find molded replacement carpet for your Cadillac Fleetwood, 1965 through 1993, including 60 Special sedans and the three-piece limousine sets. Check rear-wheel or front-wheel drive, and whether your car has under-carpet heat vents, before you order to get the factory fit.

With Heat or Without? The Question Only Fleetwood Asks

No other page in this catalog needs this section. On 1989-1993 front-wheel-drive Fleetwoods, the heat ductwork runs in the floor under the carpet, and the vent exits depend on the seats: bench seat cars have vents exiting under the seat, bucket seat cars have vents exiting in the rear of the console. That is why the catalog splits into with-heat and without-heat kits for the same years and body. Get this wrong and the carpet will not sit flat over the ducts, no matter how right the color is. Check the floor before you check the color chart.

60 Special, Base, and Limousine: Three Different Cars

Fleetwood is a nameplate, not an application. The 60 Special sedans have their own kits, from the 1965-1970 60 Special 4-door loop sets through the 1987-1992 front-wheel-drive 60 Special sets. The limousines are different again: the 1971-1973 limousine complete loop kit and the 1974-1984 limousine complete cutpile kit are 3-piece sets, covering a longer cabin that a standard sedan kit cannot reach. The three are not interchangeable, even in the same year.

The 1985-1986 Overlap: Rear Drive and Front Drive at Once

The Fleetwood went front-wheel drive in 1985, but Cadillac kept selling the old rear-wheel-drive car alongside it, and the catalog shows the overlap plainly. For 1985 and 1986 you will find both rear-wheel-drive and front-wheel-drive Fleetwood kits, sometimes in the same body style, and the 1985 2-door even appears in both drivetrains. Year alone cannot pick the kit in these two years: drivetrain is the deciding fact, and it has to come from your car, not from the year range.

Loop to Cutpile, and the Mass Backing Choice

Material follows the same 1974 changeover as the rest of the GM full-size range: loop through 1973, including the 1965-1970 60 Special loop sets, and cutpile from 1974 on, the 100% nylon cut pile that became standard around that year. Mass backing, the roughly 45-mil EVA layer for heat and sound control, is offered on many Fleetwood kits but not all of them, so treat it as a per-listing option rather than a given. Padding is included where padding was original, and trimming may be required even on a molded kit.

Fleetwood limousine versus standard-body flooring

The collection lists a 1971–1973 Fleetwood four-door Loop two-piece application separately from a limousine complete Loop three-piece kit. Later limousine choices include a 1974–1984 four-door complete Cutpile three-piece package. Retain limousine in the application rather than treating it as a general Fleetwood product.

Other Cutpile listings distinguish 1977–1984 four-door rear-wheel drive, 1980–1984 two-door rear-wheel drive and a separate 1985 two-door rear-wheel-drive application. Compare the actual body and drivetrain wording before selecting a kit, and confirm contents before adding other floor sections.
