This collection has 7 ACC EVA sound deadening kits for the 1959-1960 Cadillac, each a pre-cut 7-piece set. It covers Eldorado, DeVille and Series 60 Fleetwood, with separate kits for the Series 62 cars.

Which 1959-1960 Cadillac kit you need

Eldorado kits come in a Series 62 version and a standard Eldorado version. DeVille kits are split by body: 2-door coupe or 4-door sedan, again with Series 62 and standard listings. The Series 60 Fleetwood has its own kit. Check the series on your car, since the floor and body style change what fits.

Why it matters on a big Cadillac

These cars were built to be quiet, and a restored 1959 or 1960 Cadillac with no insulation under the carpet sounds nothing like it should. EVA cuts road noise and drone, slows heat through the floor and tunnel, and gives the carpet a smooth base. Kits are made in the USA by Auto Custom Carpets.

Install tips

Pull the old carpet and jute, clean and treat any rust on the floor pan, then lay the EVA pieces in place. The pieces trim easily around seat tracks and mounts. Install the new carpet over the top.

Common questions

Is this the same as the original padding? It does the same job as the factory jute and more. EVA is denser and does not hold water the way jute does.

Does it come with carpet? No. Sound deadening is sold separately from ACC carpet kits, so you can pair it with the carpet for your car.
