Collection: ACC Pontiac Firebird Floor Mats

Choose your vehicle application, then compare materials, coverage and options on each listing.

Shop Pontiac Firebird floor mats from the 1967 original to the last 2002 cars, with separate sets for Trans Am in nearly every year range. Choose loop, cutpile or molded cutpile by generation, 4-piece sets or Premium Contour fronts, all with embroidered logo choices.

Firebird and Trans Am Are Separate Listings

The first decision on this page is not color, it is the badge on the fender. Trans Am has its own sets through most of the run: a dedicated 1969 Trans Am set, 1970-1973 Trans Am loop, 1974-1981 Trans Am cutpile, and molded Trans Am sets for 1982-84, 1985-92 and 1993-02, each listed separately from the base Firebird mats of the same years. A Trans Am pattern is not a Firebird pattern with a different logo, so order the set that names your car.

Four Generations, Three Materials

Material maps to generation. First and early second generation cars, 1967-1973, take loop. The rest of the second generation, 1974-1981, takes cutpile, matching the factory changeover of the mid seventies. Third and fourth generation cars, 1982-2002, are listed as molded cutpile, shaped for the later floor pans rather than flat cut. The split years matter: a 1973 loop car and a 1974 cutpile car sit side by side in the catalog with different materials, and both take a 4-piece front and rear set.

Premium Contour Fronts for the First-Generation Cars

First-generation owners get one more option nobody else does. Alongside the 1967-1973 loop 4-piece set, the 1967-69 cars and the 1969 Trans Am are offered as Premium Contour front mats, a 2-piece front row only set for owners whose rear footwells never see passengers and who would rather put the money into the pair that takes the wear. It is the only front-only choice in the collection, and it carries the same embroidered logo choices as the full sets.

Logos, Fit and the Driver Mat Check

Every set carries embroidered logo choices, stitched through the mat in your thread color, which is how a Firebird set and a Trans Am set end up looking as different as the cars do. The fit is die cut per year range, not universal, so a mat ordered for a 1979 car follows a second generation floor and one for a 1998 follows a fourth. When the mats arrive, take out any old loose set first, lay the driver mat flat against the carpet and confirm it stays clear of the pedals through full travel before the car moves.

Firebird and Trans Am Floor Mats: Contour or Molded Sets

Choose Pontiac Firebird floor mats by year, named model and package construction. ACC products here include Loop four-piece sets, front Premium Contour products and later molded applications. Keep those differences visible when comparing Firebird and Trans Am listings rather than selecting solely from an embroidered design.

1967–1973 Firebird Loop and front contour choices

The general Firebird Loop product identifies 1967–1973 and four pieces. A separate 1967–1969 Premium Contour listing names front coverage and two pieces. For searches such as 1968 Firebird front floor mats, compare that supplied scope with the four-piece package instead of assuming both orders include rear mats.

The collection also names 1969 Trans Am Loop four-piece and Premium Contour two-piece products, plus a 1970–1973 Trans Am Loop set. Retain Trans Am and the stated range with the candidate application. A shared Pontiac platform does not by itself establish identical patterns or options.

1974–1981 Firebird and Trans Am Cutpile mats

Separate Firebird and Trans Am products identify 1974–1981 Cutpile four-piece applications. Review dimensions and the actual configuration before choosing the finish. Similar color names across Loop and Cutpile do not establish the same texture alongside retained interior carpet.

1982–2002 molded floor-mat applications

Molded listings divide into 1982–1984, 1985–1992 and 1993–2002, with separately named Firebird and Trans Am products. For 1998 Trans Am molded floor mats, keep the complete model and year group in the order. Do not import front-contour coverage or construction from the early products into these later sets.

Selection and placement

Choose from the actual item's colors and designs; generated illustrations do not establish precise shade, binding or logo placement. Follow supplied retention directions, keep the driver piece clear of controls and never stack loose mats. If the floor or seating has changed, contact Radiant Speed Works with the exact product before assuming fitment.
