Collection: ACC Plymouth Satellite Trunk Mats & Carpet

Choose your vehicle application, then compare materials, coverage and options on each listing.

Vinyl replacement trunk mats for the 1966-1974 Plymouth Satellite, all one-piece. The listings most buyers miss sit at the end of the run: for 1971-1974 the two-door and four-door cars take different mats, and both are listed here separately in Gray Herringbone.

Every Satellite trunk mat in this collection is a one-piece vinyl replacement, and the listings run from 1966 through 1974. Most of the sorting is by year, but the split that catches buyers out is not a year at all. It is a door count, and it only shows up on the last four years of the run.

1971-1974: Two-Door and Four-Door Are Different Mats

When the Belvedere name went away after 1970, Satellite became the series name for Plymouth's intermediate line, sold in two-door, four-door and wagon forms. Sedans were working family cars, and a lot of them survive. For 1971 through 1974 this collection lists the two-door and four-door cars separately, both in Gray Herringbone, because the sedan's trunk floor is not the hardtop's. That matters when you shop around: the best-known 1971-1974 B-body trunk mat from other sellers is specified for hardtop models only, so four-door owners routinely get sent a mat cut for the wrong car. Count your doors before you order, not after the box arrives.

The Earlier Cars: 1966-1970

The first listing covers 1966-1967 and comes in Gray Plaid only. For 1968-1969 there are two pattern choices, Gray Plaid or Gray Houndstooth, and the 1970 car stands alone in a single-year listing in Gray Herringbone. That sequence tracks the factory pattern change visible in period parts listings, where Plymouth B-body mats were plaid for 1969 and herringbone by 1970. A surviving original mat is the best pattern reference if your car still has one.

Check the Floor Before the New Mat Goes Down

B-body owners on the forums repeat one warning: the trunk floor under the mat is where these cars quietly rust, fed by a leaking trunk seal, and old vinyl mats crack and come apart when you lift them after decades in place. So pull the old mat, look at the floor honestly, and fix any water entry before the replacement goes in. A fresh mat laid over a wet floor just hides the problem until the next inspection. While the trunk is empty, it is also the right time to look at the spare tire well and the drop-offs behind the rear wheels, two more places water likes to sit unseen.
