Collection: ACC Buick Skylark Floor Mats

Choose your vehicle application, then compare materials, coverage and options on each listing.

Skylark floor mats run from the 1961 compact to the last 1998 sedan, and the year breaks matter more than the badge. Shop loop sets for 1961-1972 and cutpile sets for 1975-1998, every one a 4-piece ACC set with embroidered logo choices.

Few nameplates changed underneath their owners as often as the Skylark. Between 1961 and 1998 it was a compact, an A-body intermediate, a rear-drive X-body, a front-drive compact and an N-body sedan, and ACC cuts a different 4-piece set for each stretch. Every listing on this page includes embroidered logo choices, so the real work is landing on the right year group first.

The loop years, 1961-1972

Three listings cover the classic era: 1961-1963, 1964-1967 and 1968-1972, all in loop. The last group is the muscle-era A-body shared with the Gran Sport, the years restorers hunt hardest for. Legendary Auto Interiors notes that original-style Buick mats show up most prominently in 1968-1973 Skylark and Gran Sport cars, and logo searches for these years cluster around the Tri-Shield, which is why the embroidered logo choice on the ACC set matters more here than on any later group.

Why 1985 stands alone

The strangest break on this page is the single-year 1985 listing, and it is not a typo. The 1980-1984 sets fit the front-drive X-body cars. For 1985, the last X-body year, the Skylark was sold only as a four-door sedan after the coupe was replaced by the new Somerset Regal. Then the Skylark name moved to the N-body platform for 1986, the chassis shared with the Pontiac Grand Am and Oldsmobile Calais. Three adjoining listings, three different floors, so a 1985 owner should not assume the 1980-1984 or 1986-1991 set will drop in.

Cutpile from 1975 to the end

The 1975-1979 group deserves a second look before ordering: those Skylarks ride on the rear-drive X-body chassis shared with the Nova family, not on the later front-drive platform, which is part of why they open the cutpile era instead of closing the loop one. Everything from those cars onward is cutpile: 1975-1979, 1980-1984, the one-year 1985, 1986-1991 and the final 1992-1998 generation. These later Skylarks are survivors rather than show cars, and a matched cutpile set in the factory color does more for a tired interior than any other single purchase. Match your exact year group, choose your color and logo, and confirm the driver mat sits flat with full pedal travel before driving.
