This collection holds 85 ACC EVA sound deadening kits for GMC trucks and Suburbans, cut to lay on the floor pan before the new carpet goes in. Coverage starts with the 1947-1954 and 1955-1959 trucks and runs through the 1999-2000 old-body C/K and 2001-2002 C3500HD.

Why add it during a carpet job

Old GMC cabs are loud. Road noise, exhaust drone and heat come straight up through the floor and the transmission tunnel, and the original jute padding is usually crumbled or soaked by now. With the seat and carpet already out, a pre-cut EVA kit takes very little extra time and gives the new carpet a flat, even base to sit on. Every kit here is made in the USA by Auto Custom Carpets.

Matching the kit to your truck

GMC changed its model names several times, so go by the exact title. 1961-1966 trucks are listed as the 1000, 1500 and 2500 Series. 1967-1972 and 1973-1974 trucks use the C15/C1500, C25/C2500, K15/K1500 and K25/K2500 style names. 1975-1978 trucks are the C15, C25, K15, K25 and C35, and 1979-1986 switch to C1500, C2500, K1500, K2500 and C3500. The 1987-1991 square bodies are listed under R and V (R1500, V2500, V3500), and 1988-1998 C/K trucks follow.

Cabs and Suburbans are cut differently

Regular cab, crew cab and Suburban floors are not the same shape, and each gets its own kit. Crew cab kits cover 1973-1974 C25 and C35 pickups, 1975-1978 C25 and K35 crew cabs, 1979-1986 C2500, K2500 and C3500 crew cabs, and the 1987-1991 V3500. Suburban kits run from 1973 through 1991 in C, K, R and V versions. Two-wheel drive (C and R) and four-wheel drive (K and V) are separate listings too.

Common questions

Does EVA replace the jute padding? It does the same job and more. Pull out the old jute, clean the floor, lay the EVA pieces down, and install the carpet over them.

Will it fit a truck with a swapped transmission? The kit is cut for the factory floor, so a stock hump is no problem. If the tunnel was cut or raised for a swap, trim the EVA to fit around it.
